What is leadership? Is it something that goes with a title or is it about how a person is being, about their attitudes and attributes? The Authentic Leadership program looks to answer these questions. It seeks to raise leaders ‘Personal Power’, their ‘Positional Power’ come with the title but why do people do as they are asked? Is it because they have to or because they want to? The most effective leaders are the ones that are Authentic, that look at them selves more closely and ask how they can change to improve. Often leaders are unaware of the impact they can have on their teams. How their every move, every comment or lack of comments is interpreted. If you have people in your team who are de-motivated and lacking enthusiasm how often to you ask yourself what you have done to cause the enthusiastic person you employed to change? Leaders must be aware of the ‘finger prints’ they are leaving on their teams. The Authetnic Leadership program helps leaders interact at a more effective level, to challenge and be challenged, without the feeling of being threatened. It enables Leaders to handle potential areas of stress much more effectively and build more effective relationships enabling them to get more out of themselves, their colleagues and their teams.
